Metal Blade Records has just inked a deal with death metal band Rose Funeral out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Rose Funeral bring's fast paced riffs, bone crushing breakdowns, and just the right amount of melody making the group brutal yet still catchy. Playing various shows in the tri-state area, Rose Funeral built a sizeable fan base bringing death metal together with raw emotion and energy. Look for the band's Metal Blade debut The Resting Sonata available everywhere late 2008.

'It's such a privilege to be sharing a label with such great bands we have all grew up on, listening to over the years. Knowing we are now apart of the Metal Blade family is an honored feeling. We have been jamming music and bands since we were young, gathering influences from the bands we loved, hoping one day we could reach that level of our favorite musician we had seen on stage, and when that day finally hit us, it was such a shock and great feeling!
